The Board of Health meets on the 4th Monday of each month in the Municipal Building at 7:30 pm. No meetings are held in July and August. In October or November we also offer free flu shots to residents 65 and over. We also offer a Rabies Clinic during the month of November. Date and time will be announced later.

Zika Virus:
Due to the ongoing presence and transmission of Zika Virus please be advised that pregnant women should avoid traveling to the following countries listed below. If a pregnant woman must travel then measures to protect against mosquito bites must be taken. Such measures include the use of long sleeve shirts and long pants, use of mosquito repellents and Permethrin - treated mosquito nets. It is also advisable to see your doctor before and after travel. In addition, all those who have traveled to the countries listed should not donate blood for a period of at least 28 days.

A reminder from Board of Health on Pet Waste:
Animal waste from pets can pollute our waters. It is required that animal solid waste be immediately and properly disposed of in order to prevent high concentrations of nutrients, bacteria and disease causing micro-organisms from entering our rivers, lakes and even drinking water. When walking your pet, please follow our ordinance by picking up waste, wrapping it and disposing into the trash or unwrapped flushing it down the toilet.
